Islamabad: Pakistan Council for Science and Technology (PCST) has planned to conduct its maiden ‘National Industrial Innovation Survey’ at a cost of Rs45.041 million over a period of 24 months.
The first of its kind survey is designed to determine appropriate innovation-promotion policies and strategies leading towards quality improvement of Pakistani products to boost their demand in the international market.
“It is one of the projects approved through PCST’s efforts to motivate firms to initiate and engage in innovative practices and solutions to the problems,” PCST Chairman Dr Anwarul Hassan Gilani said while talking to APP.
The study would provide an insight into innovative processes in the industrial sector of Pakistan, which would be useful for future planning and management for industrial production, he claimed.
