NA panel recommends reference to NAB regarding irregularities and corruption in PSM

ISLAMABAD: National Assembly (NA) Standing Committee on Industries & Production on Wednesday unanimously recommended that the Ministry of Industries & Production must send a reference to the NAB, regarding the irregularities and corruption in Pakistan Steel Mills (PSM).

A meeting of the Standing Committee on Industries and Production was held under the Chairmanship of MNA Asad Umar in Committee room No. 5, Parliament House, on Wednesday.  The meeting discussed the case of Pakistan Steel Mills (PSM), Karachi and unanimously recommended that the Ministry of Industries & Production must send the reference to the National Accountability Bureau, regarding the irregularities and corruption in Pakistan Steel Mills Karachi.

The Standing Committee also expressed its concerns over, not paying the salaries and pension to the employees of the PSM and recommended that the M/o I&P must ensure to release the salaries and pension to the employees of PSM.

  1. oh poor standing committee! who listens and respects your recommendations?
    How many times you have put the recommendations and never they have honored them.
    Please stop doing this as it belittles the stature and importance of the parliamentary committees. This disregard produces a deep pang of grief in the hearts of thousands of employees and their families.
