LAHORE: SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s (SCCI) two-day international workshop on communication in Pakistan will be starting on Monday with the participation of around 30 foreign delegates.
SAARC Chamber Pakistan chapter Vice President Iftikhar Ali Malik here on Sunday said that 30 foreign delegates drawn from India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan, Maldives, Bangladesh, Afghanistan and Pakistan will attend the moot at Lahore and share their expertise to devise a viable strategy to strengthen relationships among the member states.
Explaining the objectives, he said that participants will learn the basic rules of successful communication, develop content strategy to optimize SCCI’s communication efforts, understand the challenges being confronted, besides evolving plan to highlight the importance of the national federations for the success of the regional body.
He also said that the participants will also develop a core strategy statement and message for SCCI, and define the target audience and identify suitable channels for effective communication to achieve targets. He added that finally, the participants will also make up a concept for the media conference with Pakistani journalists on the concluding day.
