Govt to set up new amnesty scheme  

The federal government is planning to initiate a new amnesty scheme for over 3,500 individuals who wish to change their black money into white money, a local media outlet reported on Saturday.

Approximately 300 billion rupees are expected to be changed into white money under the scheme.

The individuals in question had approached Federal Bureau of Revenue (FBR) during the amnesty scheme launched by the previous government but could not submit relevant documents before the deadline.
