The Pak Elektron Limited (PEL) and Waves Singer Pakistan Limited have announced to resume plant operations from today as per relaxations given to electric appliances , informed the companies in separate statements to the Pakistan Stock Exchange( PSX)on Monday.
The PEL in its statement said, “The management of Pak Elektron Limited (PEL) has decided to resume its operations including factory and regional offices with effect from May 11, 2020, as per the relaxation given by the government to the electric appliances.”
The operations will resume with all precautionary measures aimed at preventing the pandemic spread, the statement added.
The Waves Singer Pakistan Limited also sent ‘similar’ notification to the PSX.
