Afghan govt seeks permission to schedule flights to Pakistan

The Afghan Ministry of Civil Aviation wrote a letter to the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) Pakistan seeking permission for operating flights to Pakistan from Afghanistan Airlines Ariana and Kam Air.

The Memorandum of Understandings (MoUs) has been signed between Pakistan and Afghanistan therefore the permission for flights was sought.

The letter also stated that US troops had destroyed the facilities at Kabul International airport during the evacuation process, however, the Aghan government claimed that the Qatar government had restored technical aviation facilities at Kabul Airport.

The first flight of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) took off for Kabul on September 13.
