SCCI president suggests opening of e-commerce payment gateways

SIALKOT: Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) President Majid Raza Bhutta has urged the government to take steps for opening e-commerce payment gateways to Pakistan for promotion of businesses.

Talking to APP on Sunday, he said that the government should direct the authorities concerned including the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), Ministry of Information Technology and others to introduce e-commerce payment gateways like PayPal, Google Pay and Samsung Pay etc. Electronic commerce offers unprecedented opportunities to both developing and developed countries, he said.
