    Nine non-custom-paid vehicles, smuggled goods worth Rs121.6 million seized in Quetta anti-smuggling operation

    Seized NCP vehicles and goods include cigarettes, betel nuts, and Chinese salt

    In a major anti-smuggling operation, the Collectorate of Enforcement in Quetta successfully seized nine Non-Custom-Paid (NCP) vehicles along with smuggled goods worth Rs121.6 million, including assorted brands of cigarettes, gutka, Chinese salt, and betel nuts.

    The operation, carried out in Rakhni with the support of FC North and Loralai Police, followed credible intelligence and directives for strict enforcement against NCP vehicles and smuggled goods. 

    All the seized vehicles and goods have been taken into custody, and legal proceedings under the Customs Act, 1969 have been initiated.

    The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) reaffirmed its commitment to combating smuggling and illegal trade. The operation is part of ongoing efforts to curb illicit activities and safeguard national revenue.

    FBR officials confirmed that further investigations are underway, and the agency will continue its stringent enforcement against smuggling and illegal trade, including the movement of NCP vehicles.
