Over Rs482b released under PSDP

The federal government has released over Rs482 billion under the Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP). According to a report quoting the Ministry of Planning and Development, Rs 150 billion have been released for different roads’ projects, while over 118 billion rupees have been issued to WAPDA during the period.

Likewise, over Rs24 billion have been provided for railways projects and over 17 billion rupees to Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission for its projects.

During this period, about Rs 52 billion have been released for Temporarily Displaced Persons. Over Rs30 billion for Special Areas including AJK, Gilgit-Baltistan, SAFRON and FATA for development purposes.

Similarly, Rs 20 billion have been released for Prime Minister’s Global Sustainable Development Goals achievement programme and about 8 billion rupees for Prime Minister’s Youth and Hunermand Programme.
