Careem to hold a 2-day hackathon in Karachi to hire top 100 software engineers in the country

Careem, arguably the region’s leading ride-hailing app, has announced a state of the art 2-day hackathon, HaCareem, that is to take place at the end of this month in Karachi. The aim is to look for skilled candidates through this sensational event that will help Careem in breaking further boundaries and growing exponentially.

Careem’s Hackathon event will attract the brightest tech magicians in the region to help build the transportation industry. HaCareem Karachi is the second leg of the global series that Careem is holding, the first of such held in Bangalore, India. The hackathon is expected to help the company exchange global ideas and give its local competitors a great run for their money.

The candidates interested in registering with Careem for HaCareem can do so in teams of 4 or as individuals by registering on HaCareem.com. Shortlisted candidates from Lahore and Islamabad will also be given air tickets to ensure their presence at the event in Karachi. HaCareem Karachi will be a 2-day event with 1 day for the Hack. The hack will start at 9 am on Saturday 29th April and continue till 9 am on Sunday 30th April, after which top candidates will be shortlisted and invited for job interviews at Careem. The winners and top participants from HaCareem Karachi will be offered to join Careem’s tech team in Karachi apart from winning the coolest prizes worth PKR 250,000.
