USC reduces prices of 450 daily use items by 10 pc

Reducing the prices of more than 450 items by 10 per cent for public convenience, Utility Stores Corporation (USC) has launched the 2nd phase of the Ramadan Relief Package 2017, with immediate effect and shall continue till the end of holy month Ramadan.

According to official details, Mezan, Dalda, and Tullo ghee/cooking oil, Mezan and Tapal Tea, Nestle’s Milkpak, Nido Everyday, a range of its juices, as well as noodles, vermicelli and spaghetti, different soaps and other various necessary items are included in the list of products with a 10 per cent price reduction. The price of Tapal Family Mixture 950 grams has been reduced by Rs.30 from Rs.700 to Rs.670, Dalda Bnaspati 5 kg tin from Rs.895 to Rs.875, Tullo 5 kg tin from Rs.788 to Rs.773, nestle Milk pack of 250ml from Rs.30 to Rs.29, Nido 910gm from Rs.722 to Rs.710, Nestle juices’ one litre price has also been reduced from Rs.152 to Rs.145, while the prices of other items included in the list have also been reduced by 10 per cent.

The USC spokesman Wajid Ali Khan Swati further said that the corporation (USC) has reduced the prices of different commodities before the commencement of Ramadan ul mubarak for public convenience. In the first phase, prices of 700 items and now the prices of further 450 items have been brought down from the market prices, which will benefit the people shopping at USC stores throughout Pakistan, he added.
