TDAP plans to participate in Beautyworld Middle East 2018

KARACHI: Beautyworld Middle East will open its doors from May 8 to 10, 2018 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Center.

The three-day event is establishing itself as the prime gateway for international beauty majors looking to do business in new and emerging markets.

In the 2017 edition of the event, 1,580 exhibitors from 60 countries and 42,012 trade buyers from more than 135 countries made their way to Dubai.

It is an exhibition where Pakistan can sell to the entire world and more than 135 countries are represented from the buyer’s side.

A total of 25 Pakistani exhibitors participated in Beautyworld Middle East in 2017. Faiza Beauty Cream, Aghas International, Muhammad Hashim Tajir Surma and Maskatiya (Olivia Pakistan) had participated on their own whereas Black Rose Cosmetics, Golden Girl Cosmetics (Shanns), Wins Cosmetics and Navia Cosmetics participated under the auspices of Trade Development Authority of Pakistan.

Pakistani exhibitors presented products such as male grooming – hair and shaving, professional manicure/pedicure and accessories, personal care and hygiene, fragrances and cosmetics and skincare.

TDAP is providing subsidised stalls this year. Each stand is available for only Rs300, 000, whereas the cost of the direct stand is at around Rs560,000. The last date to apply through TDAP is January 25.

The next Beautyworld Dubai will be held in 2019.
