FESCO initiates night operation against power pilferage

FAISALABAD: The task forces of Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) have initiated night raids to detect power pilferage across the region.

The teams checked 701 electric connections in eight districts of FESCO region including Faisalabad, Toba Tek Singh, Jhang, Mianwali, Chiniot, Sargodha, Khushab and Bhakkar, and caught 17 power pilferage cases and issued them detection bills of 10,500 units.

The teams registered cases against two power pilferers and submitted 15 applications for registration of cases.

The FESCO chief executive has appealed the people to inform the company about power pilferage in their surroundings.
