ISLAMABAD: Electric fans exports during the first two months of the current fiscal year (FY) grew by 12.07 per cent as compared to the exports of the corresponding period of last year.
During the period from July-August, exports increased by 12.07pc as fans valuing $5,663 exported as compared to worth $5,053 of the same period last year.
According to the data released by the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS), the exports of engineering goods increased by 4.02pc as goods worth $29,060 thousand were exported as compared to the exports of $27,936 thousand of the same period of last year.
Meanwhile, transport equipment worth $1,098 were also exported in the current FY as compared to exports of valuing $859 of the same period last year.
During the period under review, other electrical machinery exports of the country also recorded a positive growth of 7.27pc.
Meanwhile, other various other electrical machinery worth $6,095 was exported as compared to the exports of $5,682 of the same period in 2019.
