Cabinet Division notifies appointment of PIA Board of Directors

The Cabinet Division has notified the appointment of the board of directors of the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA).

According to media reports, the division issued a written order to formally notify the appointment of PIA directors comprising 10 members, including four from the government and six from the private sector.

The newly-appointed board directors of the national flag carrier include secretaries of aviation, finance and economic affairs divisions as well as the PIA chief executive officer.

The non-executive members included Aslam Rana, Atif Aslam Bajwa, Dr Jawaid Ghani, Barrister Zahid F Ebrahim, Dr Zeelaf Munir and Capt (r) Muhammad Ali Gardezi.
