There was a lot of outcry against Percy, an innovative new company’s IT-enabled business model of outsourcing Canadian restaurant cashiers jobs to countries with lower wage rates than Canada’s. And there was as much interest shown by restaurant chains who wanted to get in on this cost-cutting.
