Several annual targets have been achieved, including the development of key systems like the Housing Market Information System, Project Management Information System, and Beneficiary Management Information System.Â
The program has also established Location and Infrastructure Investment Criteria, while the revised Affordable Private Housing Scheme (APHS) Rules and Regulations have been approved.
Additionally, a rapid housing assessment has been completed, and a more comprehensive housing assessment will be carried out as part of the development of the Punjab Affordable Housing Policy.Â
The beneficiary eligibility criteria, aimed at addressing local market conditions and lower-income households, are expected to be finalized by the end of August 2025. Innovative design solutions and costing for core housing prototypes are also in progress, with completion anticipated by the end of August.
