Remittances sent through the Roshan Digital Account (RDA) reached $10.748 billion by the end of July 2025, a slight increase from $10.563 billion in June, as reported by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
The total remittances for July stood at $185 million, a marginal rise from $182 million in June but lower than the $201 million recorded in May.Â
The amount repatriated and locally utilised in July totaled $154 million, reflecting an increase of $31 million in the Net Repatriable Liability (NRL) of the Roshan Digital Account (RDA).
Of the total, $25 million was repatriated, while $129 million was used locally.
Cumulatively, the total repatriation and local utilization amounted to $8,727 million. Of this, $1,836 million was repatriated, and $6,891 million was utilized locally, resulting in a Net Repatriable Liability (NRL) of $2,022 million, or 18.81% of the total RDA.
Roshan Digital Account registrations also saw growth, with the number of RDA accounts increasing by 10,619 to a total of 842,582 by the end of July, up from 831,963 in June.
These accounts provide innovative banking solutions to millions of Non-Resident Pakistanis (NRPs), including Non-Resident Pakistan Origin Card (POC) holders, seeking to undertake banking, payment, and investment activities in Pakistan.Â
As of July 31, overseas Pakistanis had invested $479 million in Naya Pakistan Certificates, $936 million in Naya Pakistan Islamic Certificates, and $75 million in Roshan Equity Investments.
