Women entrepreneurs given 7.5pc quota in all trade fairs, exhibitions

ISLAMABAD: Women Parliamentary Caucus (WPC) Secretary Munaza Hassan on Monday said that 7.5 per cent ratio of the overall economic value has been allocated exclusively for women entrepreneurs in all trade fairs and exhibitions.

Talking to APP, she said a key objective of the government’s trade development policy was to energise female entrepreneurship for developing and realising Pakistan’s export capabilities and potential.

“Support for the establishment of display centres, product development, training and capacity building programmes are provided through business chambers around the year to develop and encourage women entrepreneurs,” she added.
