Dollar falls further to Rs159.81

KARACHI: Pakistani Rupee continued with its winning streak in the interbank market, gaining another 16 paisas against the US Dollar on Wednesday.

According to a State Bank of Pakistan tweet, the US dollar opened at Rs159.97 on Wednesday and closed at Rs159.81. PKR has gained Re0.45 against the greenback in the last three days while it has strengthened by Rs1.11 compared with Wednesday last.

Meanwhile, the country’s liquid foreign exchange reserves stood at $19.302 billion as on October 16, 2020, the SBP reported.
