SBP announces bank holiday on July 1 

All banks, DFIs, MFBs to remain closed for public dealing on Tuesday 

The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) on Friday announced it will remain closed for public dealing on July 1, 2025 (Tuesday), to observe the bank holiday. 

In a notification, the SBP said that all banks, Development Finance Institution (DFIs), Microfinance Bank (MFBs) will remain closed for public dealing on Tuesday. 

However, employees of the Banks, DFIs and MFBs will attend the office as usual.
