Direct flights between Pakistan and Bangladesh to resume soon, says minister

Resumption of flights to enhance trade, tourism, and medical travel between the two nations, Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhry tells NA 

Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhry announced on Friday that direct flights between Pakistan and Bangladesh will resume soon, as both countries work to strengthen their bilateral ties.

In response to a question in the National Assembly, Dr Chaudhry confirmed that Bangladesh had granted permission for Fly Jinnah and Air Sial to operate flights between the two nations. The move is expected to facilitate increased trade, tourism, and medical travel.

The minister also highlighted the growing economic cooperation between Pakistan and Bangladesh, revealing the establishment of a Joint Working Group on Trade aimed at boosting bilateral trade and investment.
