LAHORE: Pakistan China Joint Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCJCCI) President Shah Faisal Afridi said China is Pakistan’s largest trading partner with total volume exceeding $20 billion.

The “One Belt-One Road” initiative of China will play a momentous role to openness towards the economic opportunities existing on the globe, reports Radio Pakistan.

This was stated by PJCCI President Shah Faisal Afridi and Senior Vice President Ahmed Hasnain while addressing a meeting of the chamber in Lahore.

They emphasized regarding the significant development strategy launched by the Chinese government with the intention of promoting economic co-operation among countries along the proposed Belt and Road railway routes.

Speaking on the occasion, Senior Vice President PCJCCI, Ahmed Hasnain said steps will be taken to resolve investment and trade facilitation issues to promote regional economic integration.
