Dar orders FBR to consult provinces to resolve input tax adjustment issue

Federal Minister for Finance Senator Ishaq Dar has directed the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) to hold discussions with the provinces on the input tax adjustment so that the matter could be resolved amicably at the earliest.

Dar expressed these views while talking to Punjab Finance Minister Ayesha Ghaus Pasha who along with her team called on him at the Finance Division on Monday and discussed with him financial matters related to the government of Punjab, including the input tax adjustment and net hydel profits.

Talking to the delegation, Dar advised the provincial Finance Ministry to take up the issue of net hydel profits with the Ministry of Water and Power and WAPDA. He said that in case any facilitation was needed in this regard, they might approach the Finance Ministry.
