Pak can achieve 8-10 pc economic growth, says Ahsan Iqbal

The country can achieve 8 to 10pc economic growth for the next three decades mainly due to the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), said Minister for Planning, Development and Reform Ahsan Iqbal.

Addressing a gathering of international business leaders at a summit, he said that this high growth rate could bring Pakistan among the top 25 economies of the world by 2030.

The two-day summit was organised by the Ministry of Planning, Development and Reform in collaboration with Martin Dow and Nutshell Forum. The aim of the event was to provide a platform for leading business figures across the world to present their ideas and effective business strategies. Martin Dow Group Chairman Jawed Akhai said it was vital to focus on developing the leadership in the country.
