Shalimar Express handed over to private company

Pakistan Railways has handed over the management of Shalimar Express to a private company for two years under a private-public partnership.

According to media reports, Shalimar Express has left for its first journey from Karachi under the new private management.

DS Railway Nisar Memon has inaugurated Shalimar Express.

With new administration, along with new coaches will extend better traveling facilities to public.

24 hours advance booking would be available from Cantt, Karachi City, Landi, and Drug road.

This new train comprises of a Parlor Car Super Deluxe, AC stand, and economy class.
