MoIT facilitates female staff by offering ‘Work from Home’ initiative

Minister for IT & Telecom Anusha Rehman has announced “Work from Home Policy” in order to facilitate and promote the female staff of the Ministry of Information Technology (MoIT.

As per the policy initiative, the female officers employed by the Ministry of IT are given the choice to select one day in a week (convenience based), to perform their official duties while being in their respective homes.

Anusha stressed that “Work from Home Policy” convenience should be responsibly utilised so that the workers’ accessibility, communication and productivity are not compromised.

Female officers at MoIT have welcomed the policy initiative and lauded the minister’s special initiative aimed at the wellbeing of female employees. Ministry of IT & Telecom has issued a formal notification in this regard.
