Pakistan and China sign multiple MoU’s for CPEC infrastructure projects

A memorandum of understanding between the Government of People’s Republic of China and Government of Islamic Republic of Pakistan on cooperation within the framework of the Silk Road Economic Belt and the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road Initiative was inked today. This was witnessed by the Prime Minister of Pakistan and China Nawaz Sharif and Li Keqiang.
Multiple MoU agreements pertaining to Economic and Technical Cooperation (1.5b RMB for Gwadar Airport etc.), MoU on implementation of ML-1 and establishment of Havelian Dry Port in Pakistan, Economic and Technical Cooperation (0.8b RMB for Gwadar Airport),Economic and Technical Cooperation (1.1b RMB for East bay Expressway) were signed between the two countries.
A Framework Agreement on implementation of up-gradation of ML-1 and establishment of Havelian Dry Port in Pakistan was also reached in this regard.
