KARACHI
Three companies from Pakistan participated in the Automechanika fair in Johannesburg. The companies include Atlas Battery, Diamond Tyres, and Rastgar Engineering. The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) organised a pavilion for the first time in Automechanika Johannesburg 2017.
Automechanika Johannesburg, which started on September 27, 2017, is the meeting place for the business-to-business automotive sector in southern Africa. It presents the entire value chain in the automotive aftermarket from point-of-sale, via services to recycling and waste disposal.
More than 11000 International visitors visited Automechanika Johannesburg in 2017.
Rastgar Engineering Director Qasim Rastgar said, “This is the first time we participated in Automechanika Johannesburg and had a good business in this fair.”
Many of the Pakistan Auto Spare Parts Importers & Dealers Association members visited the fair, which showed the importance of this market for Pakistani traders.
