KARACHI: Pakistan Advertisers Society (PAS) held its 20th Annual General Body Meeting on Friday, November 24, 2017, in Karachi.
The AGM was attended by all the major advertisers of Pakistan. Some of the important industry issues were discussed and the agenda for 2018 was proposed to the members.
The AGM also marked the end of the two-year tenure of the current Council and the Office Bearers. The elections for the new council for the term 2018-19 were also part of the proceedings.
The newly elected council comprises of 14 incoming members. Procter & Gamble Pakistan Director Marketing Saqib Zia was elected as the chairman of the society. Other representative members on the executive council include English Biscuit Manufacturers Dr Zeelaf Munir, Reckitt Benckiser Fahad Ashraf, Engro Foods Haseeb Ur Rehman, PEL Hassaan Serwani, Tapal Tea Khawaja Zulfiqar Ansari, Asian Consumer Care (Dabur) Nauman Khan, Hamdard Laboratories M Usama Qureshi, TPL Insurance Saad Nissar, Nestle Pakistan Samra Maqbool and Jubilee Life Insurance Syed Usman Qaiser.
The AGM was followed by Chairman’s Dinner that was hosted by Aly Mustansir the outgoing Chairman of the Society. It was attended by all the members of the Society, media, agency and other stakeholders from the industry.
