Telenor stops deducting withholding tax in Gilgit-Baltistan
ISLAMABAD: Telecommunication company Telenor has informed its subscribers through SMS that the deduction of withholding tax in Gilgit-Baltistan will be stopped from January 15.
The decision came after a large number of people held a prolonged protest in Gilgit-Baltistan, pressing the federal government to stop the deduction of withholding tax.
