NIC Lahore extends application deadline for 2nd batch of startups

LAHORE: The National Incubation Centre (NIC) Lahore is now accepting applications for its 2nd batch of entrepreneurs aiming to make it big through their game-changing ideas.

Initially, the deadline to apply for the 2nd batch was 15 May 2018. The deadline has now been extended to 15 June 2018 allowing more time for budding entrepreneurs to work on their pitch, and prepare for the lengthy online application which asks questions related to the startup’s idea, founder profiles, initial capital, financial forecasting, and how the startup will make sure it reaches that forecasted level. It also includes detailed answers on marketing, customer acquisition and retention.

The National Incubation Center Lahore (NIC), set up as an independent centre under the LUMS umbrella, aims to formalise the institution’s support for entrepreneurship. It is the nation’s most comprehensive experiential development platform for budding entrepreneurs that formalises the process of scouting, grooming and facilitating passionate startup founders.

The Foundation incubation program at NIC Lahore is designed to deliver a structured experiential development experience for businesses at any stage but its primary focus is on startups.

Designed and funded by the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecom (MoITT) and Ignite, NIC Quetta was recently inaugurated in Quetta at the Balochistan University of Information Technology, Engineering and Management Sciences (BUITEMS).
