Tax facilitation centre established in Abbottabad

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority has established a regional tax facilitation centre in Abbottabad to help people of the city and adjoining areas file service tax returns.

KPRA Director General Muhammad Tahir Orakzai said that the centre would help not only broaden the tax net but would help spread tax awareness among the masses of the area. He said the centre is part of the government’s revenue strategy with a special focus on the facilitation of taxpayers.

Orakzai said that the centre is situated within the vicinity of business and commercial centres and is easily accessible to taxpayers located in Naran, Mansehra, Galyat etc.

The director general revealed that competent officers have been deputed at the centre to guide and assist taxpayers in the filing of tax returns and registration process.

The centre will remain operational from Monday to Friday, from 9am to 5pm daily.
