SNGPL puts gas supply on hold for general industry, CNG sector

'Decision has been taken in the wake of increasing gas consumption by domestic sector'

The Sui Northern Gas Pipeline Limited (SNGPL) has decided to temporarily discontinue gas supply to general industry and CNG sector. However, zero-rated industries would not be affected.

“In the wake of increasing gas consumption of domestic sector due to the current cold wave in the country, SNGPL has decided to temporarily discontinue gas supply to general industries and CNG sector,” said a statement issued by the company on Thursday.
