Rs5 to 10 per litre cut in petrol price likely

The government has decided to slash petrol price upto Rs5 to Rs10 per litre to provide relief to the people, a private TV channel reported. 

The price of diesel is expected to be slashed by Rs2 per litre. The decision has been taken following plummeting oil prices on the international market. In April, government approved up to Rs30 cut in petroleum prince for May.
