Punjab govt waives licence fee of 75 small businesses

LAHORE: On the directives of the federal cabinet, the Punjab government has given relief to 75 different small businesses across the province and waived professional tax, professional licence and vocational fee on all of them.

The provincial local government has also issued a notification to implement the decision and all the local bodies across Punjab.

These small businesses include grocery shops, vegetable stalls, fruit vendors, plumbers, barbers, laundresses, butchers, ice cream parlours, restaurants, general stores, departmental stores, welding shops, flour mills, chicken shops, cobblers, milk sellers, tailors, beauty parlours, cloth stores and 56 others.
