The case against the Miftah Ismail-proposed school voucher system

There are a lot of issues with Miftah Ismail’s proposal to replace the public school system with a voucher system for private schools. Not just the philosophy of what the state is supposed to do, but also practical concerns, like how few private schools there are in the first place and their quality of education as well.
