The Board of Directors of Soneri Bank Limited has appointed Mr. Amin A. Feerasta as the new Chairman of the Bank.
According to a notice sent by the bank to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the decision was made during the board’s 205th meeting, held on June 6, 2024, via Zoom.
Mr. Feerasta, who meets the regulatory requirements of a Non-Executive Director, will serve as Chairman for the remainder of the current term. His appointment fills the vacancy left by the passing of Mr. Alauddin J. Feerasta.
The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) had previously cleared Mr. Feerasta’s appointment as Executive Director, as indicated in a letter dated June 4, 2024.
