Treet Battery Limited (PSX: TBL) has entered into a strategic agreement with Highstar Digital Energy Technology (Guangdong) Co., Ltd, a prominent Chinese manufacturer of energy storage solutions, to import and sell lithium-ion batteries in Pakistan. This marks TBL’s expansion into the rapidly growing lithium-ion battery market, complementing its existing operations in lead-acid batteries.
The collaboration leverages Highstar’s global expertise in advanced energy storage technologies, enabling TBL to diversify its product portfolio and capitalize on emerging opportunities in renewable energy, electric mobility, and sustainable power applications.
The company emphasized that the introduction of lithium-ion technology to the local market will strengthen its competitive position, enhance revenue streams, and create long-term value for shareholders.
