KARACHI: Intersec 2018 is the leading international meeting platform for the Security and Safety Industry to be held from January 21–23, 2018. Intersec has proven to be the best business platform in the MENA region and beyond.
Intersec 2018, witnessed growth in several product sections and pavilions in its 20th edition.
Intersec, the largest exhibition and the most international trade platform in its industry worldwide set a record of over 1300 exhibitors and approximately 33,000 visitors from around 120 countries.
Pakistan has also participated with other international pavilions including Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Italy, Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, UK and USA.
Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) has organised a National Pavilion with 11 companies to participate in Intersec 2018 including Distil Industries, Industrial Safety, Kumail Enterprises, Safe Hand, Suntex Gloves, SAT International, Swisspo, MR Sons, Shareef Tex, Road Masters and JNA Industries.
Moreover, Farooq Garments, Hundal Group and Laiba Industries have directly participated in the exhibition.
Swisspo Director Abdul Jabbar commented, “We have export in many European countries and through Intersec, we have entered the Gulf market for the first time and are expecting high results.”
Laiba Industries Director Mohsin said, “We have been participating in Intersec for many years and it always brings good business opportunities.”
Dubai Commercial Counselor Dr Nasir Khan and Dubai Counsel General Javed Hassan also visited Intersec and appreciated Pakistani products showcased in said fair while encouraging Pakistani exporters.
