Forex Update: Pakistan’s foreign reserves stand at $16.713bn

KARACHI: According to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), the total liquid foreign reserves of the country stand at $16.713 billion.

According to an SBP’s weekly statement issued on Thursday, the foreign reserves held by the SBP on 10 August amounted to $10,152.6 million. The net foreign reserves with commercial banks were $6,560.2 million.

During the week ending 10 August, SBP’s reserves decreased by $216 million to $10,153 million, due to external debt servicing and other official payments.
