TDAP to stand side by side exporters in Automechanika Istanbul 2020

ISLAMABAD: The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) will participate with the Pakistani pavilion in Automechanika Istanbul, a mega trade show that is going to be held on May 2, 2020.

The authority is providing with the exporters subsidized stalls to increase the exports of auto parts, tyres & systems, and products related to repair and maintenance of cars, trucks and lubricants.

According to TDCP, each stand will cost Rs320,000 only with the official subsidy, while direct exhibitor will have to pay approximately Rs7,55,000. The interested parties will follow the TDCP deadline of Feb 6.

The automotive industry is one of the four ‘locomotives’ of the Turkish economy as it assembles some of the country’s largest exporters and represents one of the leading investor industries.

Automechanika Istanbul exhibitor numbers have climbed to 1,397 from 38 countries whereas 48,737 trade visitors from 130 countries attended the show in the past.

Pakistani companies who have participated in Automechanika Istanbul in the last two years are Ahmed Traders, Ammarian Industry, Chenab Engineering, Diamond Tyres, Golden Brothers, Ghauri Tyres & Tubes, Infinity Engineering, Royal Tech, Matchless Engineering, Mecas Engineering, Millat Tractors, Jodhala Complex, People Steel Mills, Panther Tyre, Precision Mates, The General Tires, Thermosole, Stahlco Engineering, Super Horn House, Razzaq Engineering, Tariq Engineering and Zahoor Die Casting.

TDAP had participated in Automechanika Istanbul in 2019 with other 15 international country pavilions of Germany, Czech Republic, China, Hong Kong, Korea, Malaysia, Morocco, Indonesia, India, Iran, Italy, Slovakia, Spain, Taiwan, Thailand

From Pakistan, more than 60 auto parts’ importers visited the fair with the members of the Pakistan Auto Spare Parts Importers & Dealers Association (PASPIDA) last year.
