ISLAMABAD: China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPECC) Authority Chairman Asim Saleem Bajwa on Thursday announced more than 1,100 jobs related to the Thar Block-1 project being undertaken by Shanghai Electric under CPEC.
While taking to Twitter, The CPEC Authority Chairman said that local candidates will be preferred for jobs in Thar-Block-1 given that the candidates fulfill the required criteria and qualification.

Earlier on August 15, Asim Bajwa had announced the launch of a three-month internship programme at the authority aimed at human and social development.
The internship programme has a capacity of 100 interns.
