Second turbine of Bhikki Power Plant started

 

 

Power generation from second turbine of Bhikki Power Plant has started.

The Punjab government spokesman talking to Radio Pakistan informed that the plant, which started its test run two weeks ago, would add seven hundred megawatt electricity to the national grid next month.

He said Bhikki Power Plant would prove to be a milestone in the country’s power sector by lowering the production cost and benefiting the consumers.
