NSPC ready for foreign business: Senate body told

KARACHI: National Security Printing Corporation (NSPC) is ready for foreign business, a meeting of the Senate body was told here on Friday.

The meeting of the Senate’s Standing Committee on Finance, Revenue, Economics Affairs and Narcotics was held in the chairmanship of Senator Saleem Mandviwalla at Pakistan Security Printing Corporation.

Senator Mandviwalla said that both National Security Printing Corporation and Pakistan Security Printing Corporation are profitable corporations; other departments and corporations should learn from them.

“National Security Printing Corporation needs Federal government NOC for foreign business,” he added.

National Security Printing Corporation Managing Director Muhammad Misbah Tunio said in his briefing that NSPC is on 71 per cent net profit. We are also ready to expand our machinery and systems for the foreign business.

Pakistan Security Printing Corporation Chairman and MD Haroon Rasheed also briefed the Committee about their achievements.

The members of the Committee which attended the meeting include Senator Barrister Murtaza Wahab, Federal Minister for Finance Rana Muhammad Afzal Khan beside Committee Secretary Muhammad Tahir Khan and others.
