SBP’s foreign reserves decline by $101mn

The total liquid foreign reserves held by the country stood at $14,852.1 million on 5 October 2018.

Foreign reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan stood at $8,307.8 million, while the net foreign reserves held by commercial banks totalled to $6,544.3 million.

According to the State Bank, during the week ending 5 October 2018, SBP’s reserves decreased by $101 million to $8,308 million due to external debt servicing and other official
payments.
