OGRA recommends Rs0.77 per litre decrease in petrol price

The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) on Friday recommended a decrease in the prices of petroleum products and forwarded a summary in this regard to the Petroleum Division. If approved, the price of petrol would go down to Rs111.91 per litre.

For diesel, OGRA has recommended a decrease of Rs2.30 per litre. Similarly, the regulatory body has recommended cutting down the price of light diesel oil by Rs0.26.

It has also suggested slashing the price of kerosene oil by Rs2.94 per litre.

The new prices of petroleum and oil products would take effect from July 1.
