Azadi March: FBR all set to net smuggled vehicles

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) on Monday claimed that ‘certain unscrupulous element’ would try to smuggle in non-custom paid vehicles in the garb of Azadi March that is supposed to reach Islamabad on Oct 31.

“Certain elements may attempt to avail the opportunity of transporting vehicles in the garb of crowds, groups and dharna processions moving across the country,” said FBR statement. Customs field formations have been alerted to jointly apprehend such smuggled vehicles, it added.
