PIA halts flight operations to China till March 15: report

LAHORE: The Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has reportedly halted flight operations to China till March 15 in the wake of coronavirus outbreak there, a private TV channel reported on Monday.

The decision to suspend flight operation comes after the spread of the deadly virus to Iran, where death toll has climbed to eight since the infection was reported on Wednesday this week.

Pakistan suspended flight operations to China in the last month briefly but resumed it only after installing screening machines at the airports.
