LAHORE: The Punjab Revenue Authority has collected unprecedented revenue of Rs9.4 billion in October 2020, as against the revenue of Rs7.6 billion in October 2019, registering a growth of 24pc.

On a cumulative basis, the PRA collected Rs35.46 billion during the July-October 2020 period, as compared to Rs32.29 billion in the same period last year, showing a growth of 9.74pc.

It is pertinent to mention that this continued growth in revenue collection was achieved amid the negative impact of Covid-19 on the economy.

The PRA chairperson, in his appreciation message, praised the efforts of officers and has motivated them to show a better performance in coming month.
